I've finally found my new favorite pizza spot in EV! The pizza is absolutely incredible. The crust is perfectly thin and the sauce is out of this world. I tried the original with pepperoni and it was a masterpiece. Shout out to Josh for being the best bartender and providing incredible service.

Can't not give a native SI legend a 5. Thin crust, neighborhood staple, friendly staff, casual atmosphere. You'd be lucky to live near this spot and make it a regular slice joint and a quick casual dinner spot with the family. The crust is VERY thin. So it's a matter of personal preference whether that is your thing or not. I prefer it a tad thicker, but you can't argue with the taste, the freshness, and the delicious sauce. Go in, grab a slice. Tell them Louis sent you. They don't know me from a pothole on Victory Boulevard, so you will just get a confused look. But if awkward humor is your thing, have at it.

OG Joe and Pat's on SI is still the GOAT for me, but the east village location is more of a vibe. My party split 4 apps, a large pizza, and 2 pastas: Apps - Stuffed shrimp, ok - Friend ravioli, good but skip - Bruschetta, good but skip (2 per serving) - Rice Balls, the table liked them (3 per serving) Mains - Gnocchi in blush sauce, favorite dish - Eggplant parm, good - Large Tri-pie, must order this! Everyone liked the gnocchi and Tri-pie, definitely recommend ordering both. The staff were nice and very efficient, I would 100% come back for another dinner. A word on the pizza, they do offer a personal size option but I would stay away from these because I think the crust looks a little thicker than the 16" size.

Such a cute and lowkey spot, a hidden gem for sit down pizza/italian in the East village. The tri-pie (most famous item and the same as Rubi Rosa) did not disappoint. Huge pizza, a perfect thin crust, and 1 perfect to share with 3-4 people . I came here with my cousin who has a 1 yr old, and the staff was super kind and accommodating. It really has a family owned vibe and overall a wonderful dining experience.

Fantastic pizza spot that is a must try when you're in the city. The service is also super friendly, and the ambiance lovely. We ordered the simple Margherita. Nice thin crust, cooked to perfection, and a great display of simple ingredients done very well.

3.5 really. Very thin crust, but great cheese on top. Good flavors. The crust and underneath is pretty crunchy. Nice bar service. Not a must try to try the tri-pie pizza, but visually fun.

Joe and Pat's was good. I don't know if I would consider it a must stop place, especially in a place like NYC, but it was good. My favorite thing about this place was that they had mini servings of Parmesan, oregano, and other stuff. That was a nice touch. But all in all, it was just a normal pizza to me. Maybe I had an off day, or maybe that's just how it is. Either way, I'd consider this place a flip of a coin situation. If you go, cool. If not, that's okay too.

This is some of the best pizza I have had. I was hesitant to try this place because of recent reviews complaining of the wait time. We just missed out on making a reservation and it was pretty busy on a Sunday night. When we arrived around 7:15 they said it would be an hour wait. We put our name down, but as it was only 2 of us, we were able to get a seat at the bar a couple minutes later. 45 minutes later as I was finishing my meal, we got the text that our table was ready. We ordered the tri-pie. I originally wanted a vodka pizza, but the combo or tomato sauce, vodka sauce, and pesto was *chef's kiss*. I don't know if I've ever liked a pizza so much for its sauce before. Normally I'm focused on the toppings, crust, and cheese. That being said, the crust was also phenomenal, with a great amount of crisp and sturdiness throughout without being burnt or overcooked. There was a great ratio of mozzarella and the pizza was served with ramekins of oregano, parmesan, garlic, and crushed pepper to garnish as needed. We had the 16 inch and I was plenty full by my 3rd slice, but with no way to save the pizza for later as we were staying a hotel, I couldn't bare to let the delicious pizza go to waste and polished off a 4th slice. My husband ordered a beer, but I stuck to water. I really enjoyed watching the bartenders prepare cocktails. It seemed like a lot of care went to the drinks. For dessert we split a cannoli. It was quite big and great filling and crunch. There were a few chocolate chips in the filling, but I think it could have used a little bit more. Other than that, I loved my whole meal. Would have been worth the wait had we needed to wait.

Nothing but praise for our meal here. Scrumptious food, lovely setting and fantastic staff. Can't wait to go again. Sit at the bar and order with the lovely lady working behind the bar on a Sunday night- she is great!
